Structural CNC Plasma Cutting
Our Plasma Cutting service allow the creation of long length, repetitive and highly accurate components for your project. We have skilled staff and software which are able to optimise the use of material to ensure the least waste and minimise the time taken to produce components, thus reducing costs.
We can produce dimensionally accurate, 3 dimensionally cut components to assist your production of steel fabrication needs. The Python X is a robotic CNC plasma cutting system that throughout the world has revolutionised structural steel fabrication.
PythonX has the capacity to process
- Universal Beams
- Universal columns
- Channels
- Angles
- Rolled hollow section
- Square hollow section
- Flat bars
- And the ability to cut
- Holes and slots
- Internal shapes
- Copes
- Notches
- Weld preps
- Etch and pop mark

The Python X has a handling capacity of sizes as small as 50x50angle right up to a 900x400 I-beam 18m long. This allows us even more flexibility and to utilise material more effectively in the operation of the machine.
We will take your drawings (importable from all the leading steel fabrication detailing software) and create all the files needed for us to do the cutting and finishing for you. This saves you time and allows you to tap into our skills and experience.
We have found that many customers appreciated the high accuracy of the Python X cut parts, providing components that are on spec and this gives them the advantage when these components are being used that they know they are going to fit, and the ease of workshop assembly and erecting on site of the project as a whole.
Our investment in this, one of the most advanced plasma cutting plant in New Zealand has given us capacities that other engineering companies are simply not able to offer, if you would like to know more or discuss your engineering needs, please call or email us.
